Very welcoming right from the start. I walked in and got a hello from Viv while she was keeping busy, so she clearly welcomes and cares about all guests that come in, regular or not. Food was just what I was looking for and great prices, absolutely delicious! Very dog friendly, treated my pet as one of her own, and he's a pitbull so some people can get a little nervous, never felt that at all as she has her own am staff! Water bowls and treats on the patio! I'll definitely be back next time I'm I'm town!

I have been a customer for many years! The staff treat everybody like family and make sure you are taken care of. Viv herself is a non-stop dynamo who makes sure everybody is welcomed and that they enjoy a great meal at a very reasonable price.
Don't miss going to Viv's Cafe! Excellent place for breakfast, brunch or lunch. Service is outstanding just like the food! Indoor & outdoor seating. Great place to meet & enjoy conversation while having a delicious meal served with a smile at a very reasonable price. Definitely on my list to go again! My brother was here from out of town & it was his 2nd time there in 3 days. He lived here for many years & it's a must go place when back in town. Dogs are welcome in outdoor eating area & they even provide doggie water bowels in case man's best friend gets thirsty.
Down home cooking and service, I was away for a couple of years, didn't know what to expect. Some new faces, the food and service were great as I remember. My go to meal is biscuits and gravy, I have yet to find a restaurant in the Tucson that serves better, if you find an one that has better service and food,let me know.
This is a great traditional non-chain place for breakfast. Friendly, attentive staff, and it attracts a lot of locals. We were there on a Monday morning at about 8:40, and had no problem getting a booth. My wife had a Belgian Waffle and a Coke, and I had the Chorizo Scramble, hash browns, buttered sourdough toast, and coffee. The food came fast and was tasty and exactly what we wanted.
My breakfast a few months ago was good, but my lunch this past weekend was awesome. Killer Reuben and the best chicken fried steak anywhere! Love it. VictorB
What can you say about a Legend? The Hubby has been coming here on the 90's. We've been back a few times since we're both on Nevada now. She's the sweetest owner. The food is consistent. Portions are plenty. Awesome, awesome pictures and photos on all the walls. Sooo many famous people and heart clients take pictures in all other countries and places and she frames them! Great menu choices.
My wife and I came in this morning, and we absolutely love this place. The atmosphere, the people there are very kind, the service was really quick, the food was delicious. Our waitress Megan was awesome!
